Promova is a one-stop language learning platform that includes a mobile app, conversation clubs, group classes and one-to-one lessons with tutors. We have a popular website, media presence, and active socials. Our app has been downloaded more than 16 million times, and our learners completed over 35 million lessons over the last few years. Our goal for the next 2 years is to secure a spot among top 5 online language learning services worldwide. Looking ahead, within the next five years, we want to achieve the status of a unicorn company with Ukrainian roots!

We are currently looking for a Community & Event Manager to join the Promova team. The main goal of this role is to drive company culture through interest-based communities, promote the employer brand externally to strengthen global hiring, and leverage marketing events, partnership activities, and high-quality branded merchandise.

Your Impact:

  • Organizing and driving events: Plan and execute internal (corporate events, workshops, team buildings) and external events (industry conferences, meetups, career fairs) that strengthen the employer brand and attract new talent.
  • Focusing on employer branding: Collaborate with the Talent Engagement team to develop and implement a communication strategy for the employer brand in Ukraine and internationally. Represent Promova at external events and create activities that highlight our culture and values.
  • Managing communication activities: Write announcements, plan advertising campaigns if needed, and coordinate the creation of visual content.
  • Analyzing event and communication effectiveness: Gather feedback, analyze key metrics, prepare reports, and implement recommendations to improve future activities.
  • Developing internal communities: Launch knowledge-sharing programs, organize thematic communities, and support team initiatives that contribute to company culture.
  • Designing and implementing branded merchandise and gifts: Work on unique corporate merchandise, find vendors, and ensure quality control.
  • Participating in external marketing events: Organize brand activities at conferences, exhibitions, and forums, create stand concepts, presentations, and interactive experiences.
  • Managing the event and activity budget: Plan resources, monitor expenses, and optimize costs.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of marketing processes.
  • Experience coordinating work with designers and copywriters.
  • Strong skills in using interactive online tools for event preparation.
  • Experience in budgeting and cost optimization.
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate or higher.
  • Ability to host and moderate internal events.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and proactivity.
