At AmoMama, we are looking for an experienced English Content Writer. Your work will impact millions of AmoMama subscribers throughout the world. You will create meaningful stories about celebs and inspiring stories about regular people. Also, you will participate in the brainstorming process, and conduct research to develop your writing. You will set the tone for publications, decide what you want to highlight in the piece, and how to keep the reader engaged until the end of the story.

Responsibilities:

  • creating texts (up to 3000 words per day) based on multiple sources. You should be able to adhere to prescribed editorial guidelines without sacrificing creativity;
  • searching for relevant media and add suitable descriptions of them;
  • checking articles for factual accuracy;
  • independently searching for any additional information needed.

Requirements:

  • native or proficient level of English;
  • experience as a journalist, editor on the site;
  • experience with CMS system (WordPress, Tilda, own);
  • organizational and time management skills;
  • high skills in PC, MS Office, Excel, Google services.

Your reporting manager will be our Operations Manager — Tetyana. She has worked in AMO for 5 years — almost since its inception. Tanya started as a researcher, and then moved to the position of Managing Editor, where she developed the content direction. Currently, Tanya works as our Operations Manager in the editorial office. Her responsibilities are building processes in the editorial team, controlling legal risks, and distributing content on all platforms. Tanya is looking for a team player who will take responsibility for their work, meet deadlines, and love their job.
