We are looking for a Shopping Content Manager for a new social shopping application targeting the U.S. market. This mobile app makes shopping more engaging and smarter.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and user interests in shopping and deal discovery in the US.
  • Curate trend-driven product collections to maximize user engagement and relevance.
  • Track and analyze collection performance, optimizing based on user interactions and feedback.
  • Stay ahead of emerging shopping trends and seasonal demands in the US.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align content with user engagement strategies.

Measures of success:

  • Increased user engagement (e.g., time spent on collections, interactions, shares).
  • Growth in affiliate link clicks and conversions from curated collections.
  • Consistent expert-driven content output (e.g., at least X high-quality collections per month).
  • Positive user feedback and strong community engagement.
  • Improved retention rates among active users due to engaging shopping experiences.

Key challenges in this role:

  • Understanding and predicting fast-changing consumer shopping trends.
  • Ensuring content aligns with affiliate marketing strategies and maximizes monetization.
  • Balancing quality and quantity of curated collections while maintaining engagement.

Skills and knowledge required:

Must-Have:

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret shopping trends and user behavior.
  • Experience in content curation, especially in the e-commerce, shopping, or lifestyle industries.
  • Understanding of affiliate marketing and its integration with content strategies.
  • Ability to engage and manage external content creators or industry experts.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The data-driven mindset to optimize content for engagement and conversion.
  • English B2+.

Desirable:

  • Experience with AI-driven tools for trend prediction and content curation.
  • Background in social commerce or influencer marketing.

Professional experience:

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years in content management, SMM, or related fields.
  • Understanding and experience with shopping content.
  • Proven track record of increasing engagement through shopping content.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with affiliate marketing or e-commerce partnerships.
  • Experience in managing influencer or expert content programs.
  • Previous work in a high-growth startup environment.
