Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications;
  • Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues;
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing on mobile applications;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to identify testing requirements and ensure test coverage;
  • Document and prioritize defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues;
  • Participate in requirements analysis and review to provide input on testability and quality aspects;
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile testing tools, techniques, and best practices;
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders;
  • Provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving UAT issues.

Core Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on testing web and mobile applications;
  • Experience with Android and iOS platforms, including testing on real devices and emulators;
  • Experience with automated testing is a significant plus;
  • Experience of REST API testing.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and types (functional, regression, integration, usability, performance testing, etc.);
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail);
  • Proficient in writing test cases, creating test plans, and maintaining testing documentation;
  • Experience with version control systems like Git;
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and TeamCity or similar systems;
  • Automation testing skills using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Espresso, or similar;
  • Basic programming knowledge (Java, JavaScript, Python, or other languages).

Tools:

  • Familiarity with key mobile testing tools such as Android Studio, Xcode, Charles Proxy;
  • Experience with browser developer tools for debugging web applications;
  • Experience with bug tracking and reporting systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with development teams, designers, and business analysts;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment;
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills;
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
