We are looking for a Middle Backend Developer to join our team and help us improve media projects performance and introduce new functionality.

Your tasks:

integrate our services with Data Science solutions, like read-also and recommendation systems;
develop API for public websites;
optimize and improve existing codebase for maintenance and scale;
document development process and architecture;
build microservices;
rewrite existing functionality from Yii2 to Laravel framework and review current architecture. Most of the code is already on the Laravel framework and uses the DDD paradigm;
planning and creating a new project from scratch.

Requirements:

at least 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer;
good knowledge of PHP 7 or 8;
knowledge and following of SOLID principles;
experience with one of the popular PHP frameworks (Yii2, Laravel is most preferred);
experience with MySQL and query optimization;
experience with Memcached, Redis, Docker;
ability to both work in a team and solve problems independently;
desire to work with new technologies and challenges.

Will be a plus:

commercial experience with Yii2 and Laravel;
writing Unit Tests for your code;
experience with high-load projects.
