Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer for a new social shopping application targeting the U.S. market. This mobile app makes shopping more engaging and smarter. Our goal is to build a leader of social shopping apps in the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of the app, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Lead and grow the team of engineers.
• Work hands-on with ReactJS, Redux-Toolkit, Material UI, TypeScript for web and React Native (Expo), Redux-Toolkit, and TypeScript for mobile.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and Docker.
• Design and manage AWS infrastructure, including Elastic Container Register (Fargate), RDS (MySQL), Load Balancer, and CloudWatch.
• Establish best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable architecture.
• Collaborate with the founder, product team, and designers to define the roadmap and technical strategy.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a growing engineering team.

• Ensuring seamless integration of new features with existing systems.

Skills & Knowledge

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including full-stack development.
• Prior experience in a tech leadership role or startup environment.
• Experience with AI, low-code, and SaaS tools for development process automation.
• Strong expertise in ReactJS, React Native, Redux-Toolkit, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Fargate, RDS, Load Balancer, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Proficiency in Docker for containerized deployments.
• Proven ability to lead engineering projects and mentor junior developers.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable systems.
• B2+ English.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Microservices, Serverless Architecture, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with AI/ML or recommendation systems for e-commerce.
• Interest in online shopping, affiliate marketing, or social commerce.
