The Middle Mobile Application QA will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of mobile applications across various platforms. This role involves designing test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications;
  • Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues;
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing on mobile applications;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to identify testing requirements and ensure test coverage;
  • Document and prioritize defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues;
  • Participate in requirements analysis and review to provide input on testability and quality aspects;
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile testing tools, techniques, and best practices;
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders;
  • Provide support for user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving UAT issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in mobile application testing, including both iOS and Android platforms;
  • Strong understanding of mobile application development lifecycle and testing methodologies;
  • Experience with mobile device testing across multiple devices, screen sizes, and resolutions;
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively;
  • Experience with IDEs such as Android Studio and Xcode;
  • Experience with web debugging proxy tool like Fiddler/Charles;
  • Experience with Firebase tools (Crashlytics/Analytics/Test Lab);
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.
