We are currently looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Promova team. In this role, your main objective will be to drive the growth of business at Promova by identifying new business opportunities and markets, establishing and nurturing relationships with existing and potential customers, strategic planning aimed at increasing revenue and profitability of the B2B direction, and working closely with the other teams at Promova to have an impact on the product.

Promova is a one-stop language learning platform that includes a mobile app, conversation clubs, group classes and one-to-one lessons with tutors. We have a popular website, media presence, and active socials. Our app has been downloaded more than 14 million times, and our learners completed over 35 million lessons over the last few years. Our goal for the next 2 years is to secure a spot among top 5 online language learning services worldwide. Looking ahead, within the next five years, we want to achieve the status of a unicorn company with Ukrainian roots!

ABOUT YOU:

  • 2+ years in B2B Sales, preferably SaaS;
  • Experience in building B2B direction from scratch: strategic planning, setting up processes, writing internal documentation, covering the funnel with analytics;
  • Experience with market research, identifying potential markets, and understanding customer needs and industry trends;
  • Experience managing a team with closing quarterly/annual plans;
  • Advanced English;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders;
  • Experience in closing deals;
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take the initiative;
  • Result-Oriented;
  • Confident computer skills and ability to learn fast (you will have to learn to work with cms, automation tools etc);
  • Ability to collect and analyze feedback, and act upon it;
  • Previous experience in EdTech is a plus.

YOUR AREA OF IMPACT:

  • Looking for and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, types of products within our scope of work etc.;
  • Nurturing relationships with existing clients and stakeholders while also reaching out to prospective ones;
  • Working with inbound leads and establishing a flow for working with outbound leads;
  • Establish a flow for communication with potential clients from the first touch until the completed first payment and transfer the clients to customer care/account management;
  • Gathering feedback from potential clients to inform product development and improvement;
  • Working with the landing page and funnel to ensure conversion;
  • Building up and managing a team that will help you drive business growth;
  • Making business decisions independently to drive growth.
