We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities including research, analysis, and support on international tax matters and compliance.

What You Will Do:

Conduct research on various international tax matters, incl. case law.
Monitor legislative changes in tax laws across multiple jurisdictions.
Analyze tax implications on business decisions and contribute to minimizing tax risks.
Support tax and compliance operations within the Group.
Assist in developing tax structures and preparing tax returns for various international entities.
Support both internal and external tax audits.

Qualifications:

BA/BS or MA/MS degree in economics, business, or other related field.
1 year + of work experience in international tax (experience in the Big 4 or top-niche boutique consulting firms will be preferable).
Strong desire to dive into and explore new countries' tax legislation.
Strong research skills (i. a. using databases like IBFD, Tax Analyst, CCH Answer Connect, etc.).
Basic understanding of international tax principles, familiarity with tax treaties, key tax concepts and acronyms such as OECD, BEPS, ATAD, and DAC.
English proficiency (upper-intermediate, advanced), with strong communication skills – is a must.
Proficient in MS Excel and adaptive to new technologies.
Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to take on challenges.
