Promova is a one-stop language learning platform that includes a mobile app, conversation clubs, group classes and one-to-one lessons with tutors. We have a popular website, media presence, and active socials. Our app has been downloaded more than 16 million times, and our learners completed over 35 million lessons over the last few years. Our goal for the next 2 years is to secure a spot among top 5 online language learning services worldwide. Looking ahead, within the next five years, we want to achieve the status of a unicorn company with Ukrainian roots!

We are currently looking for a Middle Retention Marketing Manager to join the Promova team. The primary goal of this role is to build effective communication with customers, enhancing their user experience and helping them achieve their language-learning goals.

Your Area of Influence:

  • Creating and launching direct campaigns through the following channels: email, mobile push, app inbox, in-app;
  • Improving conversion rates across these channels;
  • Tracking channel performance and preparing reports on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;
  • Analyzing user behavior to develop new campaigns and generate hypotheses for automation;
  • Collaborating with creative marketers, designers, and product teams to launch new automated and manual campaigns.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1+ year of experience in CRM/email marketing;
  • Experience working with email campaigns (mobile push, app inbox, in-app experience is a big plus);
  • Basic skills in creating and editing emails and push notifications;
  • Experience working with any ESP (Customer.io, Reteno, eSputnik is a big advantage);
  • Ability to analyze CR/OR/CTR metrics;
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA compliance requirements;
  • Understanding of audience segmentation principles;
  • Understanding of IP and domain reputation management;
  • Ability to generate and validate hypotheses;
  • English level B2+.

Would Be a Plus:

  • Basic skills in creating reports in Amplitude/Tableau/GA;
  • Basic Figma skills;
  • Experience in user segmentation;
  • Experience working with mobile apps;
  • Experience in campaign automation;
  • Experience with Rebill rate/Cancel flow is a significant advantage;
  • Experience in creating a content plan for marketing channels.
