One of our founders had previously co-founded a highly successful Eastern European neobank with a multi-million customer base.

We have successfully started in Azerbaijan with Leobank project which reached 1mln active customers. We have recently launched our second market with Liobankin Vietnam, which has gained great momentum. The next markets on our list are Nigeria and India. Another 7 markets across Africa and Asia are coming soon.

We are looking to scale our team to support the growth plan.

Your role

You are an experienced financial controller, who will help to build, develop and oversee our core finance control functions. The role will also be responsible for Financial reporting & Tax compliance, plus Treasury function for all operating entities at FF.

Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • development and implementation of financial processes to support scale-up of the group;
  • oversee Month end process to ensure production is as seamless and smooth as possible;
  • lead on matters relating to the annual consolidated audit. Preparation offend of year accounts and coordinating the provision of information to external auditors;
  • implement Financial systems for key processes to enable efficiency in accounts preparation, utilise controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting;
  • regular review and updates to company’s accounting policies;
  • tax: ensure compliance with all tax requirements in each of our markets;
  • payroll: manager process alongside our HR team.

Reporting:

  • deliver detailed monthly management accounts comparing performance against targets;
  • weekly Treasury Reporting and management;
  • work with commercial finance teams to report results and insights to our business leaders and founders.

Who you are:

  • a self-starter, results-oriented, enjoys operating at speed, open and honest;
  • have a high energy level and positive attitude;
  • think structurally and is very technical;
  • you enjoy operating at speed and hate missing deadlines.

Your experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in finance reporting / audit at Big-4;
  • 2+ years of UK or international (English-speaking environment) experience;
  • preferably experience in a Financial Control/Reporting environment;
  • preferably, experience in a start-up / fast-paced environment;
  • fluent in English and Ukrainian.

You will report directly to the head of finance and work closely with the existing finance team and other core members of the central team, plus operational markets at Fintech Farm.

Our operating team (business leads, developers) are largely based in Ukraine, our partner banks are overseas and so you will be a vital bridge between these worlds.
